Precautions
In addition to the general requirements for the installation, use and maintenance of hammer crushers, the following points must be emphasized here:
(1) The hammer crusher is designed to break materials by means of a high-speed rotating hammer head. Therefore, the installation of the foundation and the rotating shaft must be strictly horizontal, with an error of not more than 0.5/1000mm longitudinally and 0.1/1000mm axially.
(2) The gap between the hammer head and the grate of the hammer crusher can be adjusted by the two eccentric wheels on the lower part of the grate according to the crushing size requirement. The gap adjustment requirement: when the material crushing size is 5mm, the gap between the hammer head and the grate bar can be adjusted to 10~15mm; when the crushing size is 10mm, the gap can be adjusted to between 15~25mm. The clearance of the grate itself can also be adjusted by adding or subtracting shims within a certain range as required by the crushing size.
(3) During the use of the hammer crusher, the liner plate, hammer head and grate bar should be checked regularly for wear and tear. If necessary, they should be replaced in time. After the hammer head is worn, it can be repaired by alloy welding rod and continue to use, but the welding should be symmetrical and balanced, otherwise it will cause the equipment to run unbalanced and lead to violent vibration.
(4) Hammer head replacement must be replaced in pairs according to the relative position, otherwise it will cause unbalance of rotor rotation.
(5) The maximum temperature of the rotor bearing must not exceed 70°C. If it exceeds 70°C, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection and treatment.
(6) If the bearing housing is lubricated with thin oil, the bearing should be lubricated once after every 8h of work. The height of the oil surface should be maintained in the centre of the lowest one ball, and the lubricant should be replaced once every 3 months. If it is dry oil lubrication, the dry oil cup gland should be screwed 2~3 times per shift, adding a certain amount of dry oil, and the bearing should be cleaned once every 6 months.
