As well as the general requirements for the installation, utilization and maintenance of the hammer crusher, here the following points must be emphasized:

(1) With a hammer crusher, the material is crushed by means of a high-speed rotating hammer head. The base and rotating shaft must therefore be installed in a strictly horizontal position, with an error of not more than 0.5/1000mm longitudinally and 0.1/1000mm axially.

(2) Gap between hammer head and grate bar of hammer crusher can be adjusted by two eccentric wheels under the grate bar according to the crushing size requirement. In case the material crushing size is 5mm, then the clearance between the hammer head and the grate bar can be adjusted to 10~15mm; in case the crushing size is 10mm, the clearance can be adjusted to 15~25mm. According to the requirements of the crushing size, the clearance of the grate itself can be adjusted by using the shim method within a certain range.

(3) Throughout the use of the hammer crusher, the liner plate, hammer head and grate bar should be checked regularly for wear and tear. Replace them if necessary. After hammer head wear, the hammer head can be repaired by overlay welding, which should be symmetrical and balanced, otherwise it will cause unbalanced operation of the equipment and lead to violent vibration.

(4) Exchange the hammer head must be replaced in pairs according to the relative position, or else unbalance of rotor rotation will be caused.

(5) Highest temperature of the rotor bearing should not exceed 70℃, if it exceeds 70℃, it should be stopped immediately for inspection and treatment.

(6) In the event that the bearing housing is lubricated with thin oil, the bearing should be lubricated after every 8h of work. Level of oil should be maintained at the centre of the lowest one ball, and the lubricant should be replaced once every 3 months. If the oil is dry oil lubrication, then the dry oil cup gland should be screwed 2~3 times per shift, adding a certain amount of dry oil, cleaning the bearing once every 6 months.


Installation test run

  1. Terrain can be selected according to the source of raw materials before installation.
  2. Fixed to the concrete by the foundation bolts, the design of the foundation should leave the discharge slot, its slope can not be less than 50°, however, according to the user can also feeder and transport equipment to determine.
  3. Positioning of the motor should be in the opposite direction to the feeder.
  4. Electrical equipment should be located in a convenient position for use.
  5. To check whether the fasteners are completely solid before the test run.
  6. If there are metal objects or other debris that are not easy to break, check the body of the machine.
  7. The inspection bearing whether the appropriate lubricant.
  8. By hand to rotate the rotor, depending on whether it is normal, there is no friction phenomenon, such as confirmed for the movement of no obstruction, before starting empty, trial half an hour after no noise, no swing, bearing temperature rise of not more than 30 ℃ when you can carry out a load test.
