The hammer crusher is composed of a hammer crushing case body, a rotor, a hammer head, a counter lining plate, a sieve plate and the like. It mainly consists of an upper casing, a lower casing, a transmission member, and a sieve plate member. The main component of the machine is the rotor with a hammer (also known as hammerhead).
The rotor is consisted of a main shaft, a disc, a pin, and a hammer. The motor drives the rotor to rotate at high speed in the crushing chamber. The material is fed into the machine from the upper feed port, and is crushed by the impact, shearing, and grinding action of the high-speed moving hammer. In the lower part of the rotor, there is no sieve plate, so the material smaller than the mesh size is discharged through the sieve plate. The materials bigger than the mesh size are retained on the sieve plate and continue to be struck and grounded, and segregated through the sieve plate.
This machine is mainly suitable for medium-scale crushing, which entails crushing of coarse materials such as coal, limestone, slag, and other related medium-hard ores and rocks found in construction, electric power, chemical industry, metallurgy, geological, and various other industries and industrial units.
It is able to effectively break down such materials, allowing for them to be further worked on to create even more complex substances.
