Hammer crusher is suitable for coarse, medium, and fine crushing of various materials with compressive strength below 180MPa (not exceeding 100MPa) and moisture content less than 15%, such as limestone, coal gangue, gypsum, shale, etc. Suitable for crushing materials with medium hardness in industrial sectors such as cement, chemical, power, and metallurgy. It can directly crush materials with a maximum particle size of 600-1800 millimeters to 25 or less. It is also used to break broken wood, paper, or waste materials of asbestos cement with strong elasticity and toughness, in order to recover asbestos fibers, and so on.
The hammer crusher is made up of several parts: an enclosure, a rotor, a hammer head, a countering lining plate and a sieve plate.
The main component of the machine is the rotor consisting of a main shaft, a disc, a pin and a hammer. This is driven by an electric motor to spin at high speed in a crushing chamber.
Materials are fed in from the top of the machine and are crushed by the impacts from the high speed hammer. Meanwhile the material smaller than the mesh size passes through the sieve and is discharged from the bottom. The larger particles than the mesh size are retained on the sieve and continue being crushed before they are eventually discharged.
It is mainly suitable for medium crushing, as well as coarse crushing, for countless materials. These include coal, limestone, slag and other medium-hard ores and rocks which can be found in construction, electric power, chemical industry, metallurgy, geological and many other industries and industrial units.
