Working Principle
Impact crushers are mainly used to crush materials by impact energy. Advantages and disadvantages
The advantages of the hammer crusher are: large crushing ratio (generally 10-25, up to 50), high production capacity, homogeneous product, less over-powdering, low energy consumption per unit of product, simple structure, light quality of equipment, easy operation and maintenance, etc. The hammer crusher is suitable for crushing all kinds of medium hardness and brittle materials, such as limestone, coal, salt, baiya, gypsum, alum, brick, tile, gangue, etc.. The compressive strength of the crushed material does not exceed 150 MPa. The machine is mainly used in cement, coal selection, power generation, building materials and compound fertilizer industries. It can crush raw materials of different sizes into uniform particles for processing in the next process, with reliable mechanical structure, high production efficiency and good applicability.
The disadvantages of the hammer crusher are: the hammer head and castor sieve wear quickly, the maintenance and balance finding time is long, when crushing hard material materials, the wear is faster; when crushing sticky and wet materials, easy to block the castor sieve slit, for this reason it is easy to cause downtime (the moisture content of the material should not exceed 10%). When crushing hard materials, the hammer head and liner plate are worn out, consuming more metal materials and often replacing wearable parts requires more maintenance time.
The hammer crusher is used to crush a variety of medium-hard and abrasive materials. The compressive strength of the material does not exceed 100 MPa and the moisture content is less than 15%. The materials to be crushed are coal, salt, chalk, gypsum, brick and tile, limestone, etc. The main working part of the ring hammer crusher is the rotor with the hammer head.
