The hammer crusher is a machine that crushes materials in the form of impact, in both single and double rotor form. It is a crusher for direct crushing of materials with a maximum size of 600-1800 mm to a section of 25 or less. The hammer crusher is used in the cement, chemical, electric power and metallurgical industries to crush medium and fine materials of medium hardness, such as limestone, slag, coke, coal and other materials.
Hammer crushers are available in single and double rotor versions. The single rotor is subdivided into reversible and irreversible types. Single rotor hammer crushers and ring hammer crushers are widely used.
Components of the hammer crusher include the box, rotor, hammer head, impact liner, screen plate, etc.
The hammer crusher's main working part is the rotor with hammers (also called hammer head). It is crushed by the striking, impacting, shearing and grinding action of the hammers moving at high speed. Moreover, the rotor is equipped with a sieve plate in the lower part of the rotor, and those particles smaller than the size of the sieve are discharged through the sieve plate. It is suitable for crushing minerals of various brittle materials. Suitable materials for crushing are coal, salt, baiya, gypsum, alum, brick, tile, limestone, etc. The compressive strength of the hammer crusher material is not more than 100 MPa and the humidity is not more than 15%. It is available for use as crushing equipment for materials such as stone crushing, rock crushing, mining crushing, plastic crushing, garbage crushing, etc.
